  Bring all the two- and four-legged members of the family along to share in the fun at the Irish Celtic Festival, taking place just down the street from Lakewood Ranch homes for sale. In addition to live entertainment, the festival features a 21+ relay race and a lively Lucky Dog Parade. Refreshments include a variety of Irish-themed dishes along with Irish beer and whiskey. Hours are 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, 3/15, and admission is free.

  Make a day of shopping at the University Town Center even better with the St. Patrick's Party on, appropriately enough, the Green. Local favorites Clover's Revenge are bringing their unique mash-up of acoustic pub music and Celtic punk rock to the proceedings. Face painting is only one of the family-friendly activities on the schedule, and green drinks will be had by all. Mark your calendar for 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Thursday, 3/13.
  
  
• St. Paddy Shamrock Bar Crawl - Raffurty's Bar, 1888 Main St., Sarasota, FL 34236
  What's St. Patrick's Day without an old-school bar crawl? Fortunately, we don't have to find out thanks to the fourth annual St. Paddy Shamrock Bar Crawl. Partake in discounted Irish-themed drinks at half a dozen fine establishments along the Green Mile in downtown Sarasota. Crawling is set for Saturday, 3/15, from 3 p.m. - 10 p.m. Tickets, which include two complimentary shots and the post-crawl karaoke party, are $17.99. T-shirts will be available for $10 on the day of the event, or you can get one included with your ticket for $25.99-$29.99. 
  
  
• St. Patrick's Day Parade - Holmes Beach City Hall, 5801 Marina Dr., Holmes Beach, FL 34217
  After viewing Holmes Beach homes for sale and Anna Maria homes for sale, take in the sights of a local tradition at the St. Patrick's Day Parade. A procession of floats, high school bands, pipers, and dancers will make their way from Holmes Beach City Hall to the Center of Anna Maria Island Community Center. Hours are 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday, 3/16.
